Mer and I then went to the Mall of America. I was very privileged to have Mer come with me as she does not often go to the MOA. It was just as big as I remembered and after an hour we had only gotten round the bottom floor! We then had Chipotle for lunch (only the best mexican takeout). True to America, we shared a burrito and were full! Target was next on the list and I prounced "I was home" when I walked through the doors. It is only the best department (not sure if that is the right word) store that originated in MN.

Birthday celebrations were next in order! Keith and Grandma Rosemary made me the coolest birthday sign! A bunch of friends came over and it was so good to see everyone again! Thanks to all that came, I loved seeing you all again! Americans sure know how to make you feel welcome and loved. I felt so spoilt! Birthday cake was velvet cake (or as Isaac calls it - violet cake)! Just the perfect day!

I just spent the past couple hours of my workday reading your entire blog- from the end all the way to entry number 1 :) I love it! I love that you have all these memories on here (one of my favorite parts is that you said americans use the word "super" a lot and that we have a gas station called super america! hilarious!) I feel sad though because as I was reading it (and knowing I just saw you last night) I totally forgot that you aren't staying here. Now I'm disappointed! Anyways, it was SOOOO good to see you last night. And my goodness you are getting SUPER old...23 is much older than 22 don't you think? :) I am looking forward to following your journey to Guatemala! I'm so excited for you and know it will be an amazing experience. One last time, it was SO wonderful to see you! Keep in touch!
